Project Overview

A 500-person professional services firm needed a way to make their institutional knowledge accessible to every employee. We built an AI knowledge assistant that ingests their documentation, policies, procedures, and historical data — and makes it all searchable through a natural language interface.

The Challenge

Critical knowledge was trapped in documents scattered across SharePoint, Confluence, and local drives. New employees took months to get up to speed. Senior staff spent hours each week answering the same questions. Information was inconsistent across departments, leading to errors and compliance risks.

Our Solution

We built a retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) system that indexes all company documentation and provides accurate, source-cited answers through a chat interface. The system respects access controls, surfaces relevant documents alongside answers, and continuously improves as employees interact with it. It was deployed as both a web app and a Slack integration.
